 Associate, Issuance & Investor Relations [BO/6/0001]


The Issuance & Investor Relations (IIR) department is responsible for conducting 
Sukūk issuances in the market and managing the distribution network for the IILM product offering.

 

The candidate will be an integral part of the IIR team and will be responsible for providing technical support and performing other operational tasks such as data collection, production of figures, charts and statistical analysis, as well as developing business relationships with our investors.

 

Requirements

       Understands the investment universe and assist the Issuance team to conduct Sukūk issuances

       Perform market surveillance to assess the financial market environment through market reviews

       Assess, collect, organise and manipulate financial data from internal and external sources

       Participate in Islamic deposit management and liaise with the Settlement team

       Undertake ad-hoc projects or initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the existing framework

       Able to work independently and act responsibly, demonstrating a high standard of personal and professional ethics

       Adhere to applicable codes of conduct, policies, procedures and best practices


Qualifications

       Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Economics / Mathematics / Banking / Islamic Finance

       2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Sector, Treasury & Markets or Investment Banking

       Strong analytical and interpersonal skill

       Capable of sound judgment and developing independent opinions

       Numerical aptitude required

       Fluent in written and spoken English

       Confident, hardworking and with strong desire to learn

       Fast learner and results oriented

       Self-motivated and able to work under pressure

       Ability to work in an international environment with good team spirit

       Highly skilled in Microsoft office tools (Excel/Macro & PowerPoint)

       Excellent programming skills and CFA Charter holders are highly preferred
