IILM’s governance structure contains key organs designed for effective oversight and management and sharing of experience. IILM’s governance structure, comprising the General Assembly, Governing Board, Board Executive Committee, Board Audit Committee, Board Risk Management Committee and Shari’ah Committee, facilitates cooperation amongst members towards their shared strategic goals in establishing IILM.
